Forget the store bought chocolate treats that are filled with all kinds of extra calories and chemicals. This recipe has become a family favourite because it tastes great and it is so quick and easy for little helpers in the kitchen to be a part of the fun!
Cover a cookie tray with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate on medium-low heat. You can use a double boiler, however I've found a regular small sauce pan works really well as long as I watch it closely. Once the chocolate has completely melted, add in the nuts and mix well. Pour the mixture on to the parchment paper and spread evenly. It will look like a bit of a blob shape and won't fill the whole tray. Pop it in the freezer for an hour or so. Once the nut bark has hardened, break into bite size pieces. Share & enjoy!
