Bring 4 cups of water to a boil together with the spices, maple syrup (or honey) & tea. Let simmer for a 2 or 3 minutes, then take the pot off the stove and let stand for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove tea bags and using a strainer, pour into glass jars and keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks. When you want a cup of chai, simply mix with equal parts milk. You can serve warmed or over ice.
