This chai is one of my favourite ways to cozy up on the couch with a good book! As the weather gets warmer, add ice & enjoy!

Welcome to a warm cup of cozy! Grab a blanket and a good book and put your feet up while you enjoy a little escape from the cold.Print Recipe
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon or a cinnamon stick
- 1/4 tsp clove
- 1/2 c maple syrup or honey
- 2 black tea bags
- 4 c water
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil together with the spices, maple syrup (or honey) & tea. Let simmer for a 2 or 3 minutes, then take the pot off the stove and let stand for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove tea bags and using a strainer, pour into glass jars and keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks. When you want a cup of chai, simply mix with equal parts milk. You can serve warmed or over ice.
