Welcome to Designed For You Nutrition! Grab a cup of tea, and let me introduce myself. My name is Amy and I love food! I enjoy everything about it – how it grows, where it came from, the variety of ways in which it can be prepared but above all, eating it! Food is such an important part of our daily lives. We obviously need it for nourishment but there is so much more. It can be a time for reconnecting with family and friends, sharing our hopes and dreams and celebrating. My mission is to share with others how to use food to our advantage, choosing the right ingredients to support our health.
As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, I believe that each person is unique with different nutrient requirements. I completed my studies through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. During this time, I solidified my understanding of the foundation of healthy eating & living. I am a dedicated life long learner and continue to build my knowledge base through continuing education opportunities. I strive to help others discover what their ideal eating plan is in a way that is fun, tasty and not at all boring!
As a wife and mom of two active boys, I understand the challenges of a busy schedule, shopping on a budget and trying to cook at the end of the day when everyone is feeling spent. I also ‘get’ trying to please particular taste buds. With these challenges in mind, I want to walk along side you and help you discover the joy of eating, the fun of cooking and the satisfaction of feeding you and your family well.
